Treatment Approach
- Bioenergetic Analysis Combines talk therapy with physical exercises to release stored tension in the body. It aims to connect emotional struggles with physical experiences.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Hakomi Method A mindfulness-based approach that helps clients notice unconscious patterns in their body and mind. It emphasizes compassion and non-judgment.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach is integrative, experiential, and grounded in the connection between mind, body, emotion, relationship, sexuality, and meaning. I draw from somatic psychotherapy, Hakomi, Bioenergetic Analysis, existential-humanistic psychotherapy, positive psychology, and practical tools, including CBT when useful. In therapy, we slow down enough to understand what is actually happening, notice the patterns that keep you stuck, and create more conscious choices in your life and relationships.

You may be feeling stuck in your relationship, your intimate life, or within yourself. You may be anxious, depressed, grieving, overwhelmed by a life transition, caught in repeating relationship conflicts, or unsure how to move forward. Therapy can provide a place to slow down, understand what is happening more clearly, and begin creating meaningful change.
I work with individuals and couples who want greater clarity, connection, authenticity, intimacy, and fulfillment. My approach is supportive, direct, sex-positive, and non-judgmental. I integrate somatic psychotherapy, sex therapy, existential-humanistic psychotherapy, positive psychology, and practical tools to help clients better understand themselves, their relationships, their bodies, their emotions, and the patterns that keep them stuck.
With couples, I work with communication problems, recurring conflict, emotional distance, desire differences, sexless relationships, infidelity, trust repair, intimacy concerns, and major life transitions. This work is not simply about stopping conflict. It is about helping partners better understand themselves and each other while creating a more honest, connected, and rewarding relationship.
As a Certified Sex Therapist, I provide a direct and respectful space to talk about sexuality, desire, pleasure, sexual difficulties, sexual compulsivity, relationship structure, and intimacy. My practice is LGBTQIA+, poly-aware, kink-aware, and welcoming of consensually non-monogamous clients and relationships.
I offer therapy in person in San Diego and online throughout California.
