Feeling stretched too thin? You're not alone.
If you're dealing with anxiety, burnout, or the exhausting cycle of perfectionism and people-pleasing, I get it. Life transitions—whether it's becoming a parent, navigating career shifts, or simply trying to figure out who you are outside of everyone's expectations—can leave you feeling depleted and disconnected.
Maybe you've checked all the boxes but still feel empty. Or you're so busy managing everyone else's emotions that you've lost track of your own. Anxiety shows up as overthinking, second-guessing, never feeling like you've done enough. Depression makes everything feel harder than it should be. And burnout? It's that deep exhaustion that rest doesn't fix.
Therapy doesn't have to be one more thing on your to-do list. It's a space where you can actually breathe, sort through what's happening, and build a life that feels like yours—not just one you're surviving. Whether you're wrestling with parenting challenges, trying to break free from old patterns, or simply need someone who sees the weight you're carrying—I'm here.
You don't have to keep doing this alone.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My work blends warmth, curiosity, and collaboration. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and self-compassion-based practices to help clients understand their inner world and the stories that shape them.
Together, we unpack the beliefs that fuel perfectionism, guilt, and anxiety—especially those rooted in cultural or family narratives. Sessions are flexible and paced to your needs; sometimes we reflect, sometimes we strategize, and often we learn how to be gentler with ourselves.
My approach isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered to live with balance and authenticity.

Raíces Flourish Counseling is a psychotherapy practice serving clients across Ontario. We support people who feel caught between cultures, expectations, and self-doubt. Many of our clients are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, or the quiet pressure to keep it all together.
Our mission is to offer a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed space where healing feels safe and authentic. We honour both the resilience and the exhaustion that come with being “the strong one.” Whether you’re exploring your identity, learning to rest without guilt, or redefining success on your own terms, therapy here is about reconnecting with who you are beneath the roles and expectations.
