Kamran Bedi (He/Him)
Therapist, Advanced Anxiety/PTSD treatment and Confidence building. Fast results. IEMT/EMDR, NLP, Hypnotherapy.
**Available to start sessions. - I offer therapy sessions that help people overcome anxiety, low mood, depression, fears/phobias, agoraphobia, PTSD, anxious attachment, sexual abuse, fear of flying, relationship challenges, insomnia, health anxiety, career conflict/crisis, social anxiety, public speaking - to name but a few areas that I am heavily experienced in working with. All of the people that I work with achieve results where they feel free from the mental and emotional weight of their personal challenges. This is because the therapy sessions utilise EMDR/IEMT - Eye movement therapy which rapidly helps release feelings of fear, panic, anxiety, feeling on edge, anger, guilt, shame, regret and more. It is excellent for helping people overcome negative memories and past experiences. Once the release work is complete, the sessions then focus on building up tools, skills, methods and techniques that help a person have more positive influence over their mind and to change and improve any behavioural patterns that need addressing. This combination of firstly release work, then secondly 'rebuilding' is the process that has changed and improved the lives of every person who has had sessions with me. This has been developed from my many years of experience of working with people from all walks of life with a variety of different personal challenges. It is not so much the methods used, but more so my approach and experience that leaves me fully confident that I can and will help you get life changing results.
I offer two ways of working; Following a single 90 minute session for a full consultation and some eye movement therapy, I can then advise how to work and the number of sessions required moving forward as every person is different - Option 1). A course of sessions over 6-10 weeks, once or twice a week with space to measure progress. Option 2). Sessions three or four times a week (Tue-Fri,) for a much more rapid and accelerated change and transformation, followed by a weeks break to process the work and have follow up sessions where required. Both options are subject to schedule availability.
Additional therapy sessions and areas covered include; 'navigating through divorce', 'career development', 'anxious attachment', 'insomnia', 'relationships' and 'feeling comfortable with your identity'.
I am experienced working with men, women, non-binary individuals adults and teenagers.

Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach is quite different to other therapists as I offer two stages of therapy. The first area is to release any negative feelings, memories, present challenges using Eye Movement Therapy. This is always individual to the person but usually I release feelings of panic, fear, stress, worry, anxiety, anger, regret, guilt and any past negative memories. This is like a 'reset' which enables the second area of focus, 'how to move forward'. Once the release work has happened, a person is less emotionally triggered or emotionally overwhelmed. This makes developing their mindset, confidence, new behaviours much easier. These new ways of thinking and behaving that align with the outcomes they want help to create new and healthy patterns without the overwhelm of the past feelings holding them back, as they have been released. Every person who I work with, week in week out achieves life changing transformations from this two step approach, which can be anywhere from 6-10 sessions, or more if required. Simply talking about your life, your challenges, your thoughts and emotions will not change or improve them, it may offer short term relief. Actively releasing the stored memories and emotions from the mind and body with Eye movement therapy rapidly helps create a more open and free state of mind, to then work on developing different aspects of mindset and behaviour to create changes in any aspect of your life. For life to change and improve, a two step approach is required with the emphasis on creating new mental pathways and behaviours. This is much much easier to achieve when the weight of challenging emotions is lighter, as your mind can only win when it is stronger than your emotions. If you have had therapy in the past and feel frustrated that it has not helped you, this more up-to-date approach will be worth the short term investment which will allow you to move forward more freely with your life.

I have over 10 years experience helping people feel free from anxiety, PTSD and even depression. I work with people all over the world and utilise a number of skills which allows a person to process their experiences, move forward from them and to then build a life beyond their past. Most of my work looks at HOW to heal, HOW to move forward. This will involve both understanding the past, but with the focus on moving forward and building a future.
Utilising the powerful process of IEMT I tend to help people who are triggered with their anxiety. Usual triggers include; anger, frustration, guilt, regret, shame, low self-esteem and more. The process of moving the eyes through various positions can help release any of the emotional triggers as well as any painful or traumatic memories. The process is rapid, advanced and most people feel an immediate change within their first session.
I also offer hypnotherapy where appropriate. General coaching sessions also allow a person to explore where they are, what's holding them back and strategies for moving past their challenges so that they can feel more fulfilled in their life.

1. "This was my first time reaching out to anyone and I'm so glad I was recommended to Kamran. I had three sessions of IEMT for my anxiety and I felt a notable difference after the first session. I have definitely felt a positive shift in my mindset and I couldn't thank Kamran enough!"
2. "In just three IEMT sessions with Kamran I was able to heal deep-seated childhood traumas I'd been working to release for years. Kamran expertly guided me to find the root cause of unpleasant embodied emotions, that we then released using the IEMT process. I look forward to working with him again in the future."
3. "Working with Kamran has genuinely been life-changing for me. I was very skeptical after years of various other therapies trying to process multiple traumas, yet IEMT started working within ONE session. Being able to finally 'reframe' those trauma memories & release the fears & anxieties they came with - without having to go into any detail! - has significantly improved my life. Using the book 'Your Mind Is Your Home' & the online NLP course are also great 'how-to' support guides when I need reminding or coaching through anxieties. My confidence in all areas of my life is finally building, as are my self-esteem & worth because my mind is no longer occupied by the cPTSD anxieties & fears. I can't say 'thank you' enough to Kamran for helping me - his support & kindness is the greatest gift. Thank you."
4. "I recently had coaching which provided immediate emotional relief from having IEMT.
Getting clarity and assistance on moving through a difficult period of my life was also very helpful. I actually found this service more helpful than previous therapy I had been having. Highly recommended!"
