
Megan Aliffi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Animal Assisted Therapist. Ms. Aliffi has been practicing evidence-based individual, family and group therapy as well as diagnostic assessment since 2015. Ms. Aliffi provides a unique focus on strength-based interventions to make therapy enjoyable as well as highly effective. Specific interventions include: CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, CPT, Trauma-Informed Care, Family Systems, Behavior Management and Parent Management Training. She maintains extensive experience in crisis-intervention, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma and OCD.
Ms. Aliffi has practiced in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, homes and schools. Ms. Aliffi was a Clinical Program Supervisor and therapist at Griffith Centers for Children for 3 years. At the beginning of Ms. Aliffi's career, she worked in therapeutic foster care at SAFY and as an outpatient provider at Children's Hospital.
Ms. Aliffi strives to engage each client in a trusting and compassionate relationship to provide the highest quality service. When working with children, Ms. Aliffi delivers a creative approach to therapy by incorporating interests, strengths and social support.
