Riki Stopnicki

I am a Registered Social Worker, and I provide counselling for adults, teens, and children struggling with stress, anxiety, anger, depression, and ADHD. I also provide counselling, support, and guidance for family members of individuals with ADHD to help navigate the many challenges and concerns that come up in relationships impacted by ADHD. I’m committed to working with my clients in a way that helps them feel truly heard and understood and helping people move towards real change in their lives. I am passionate about helping people live life with less stress, overwhelm, conflict, and challenge and move towards improved wellbeing in life and relationships. As a therapist, I am drawn to evidence-based and strengths-based psychotherapy approaches such as CBT and ACT that we can use to help you move towards your goals for your life and relationships. Starting therapy is never an easy process; doubt, shame, and self-criticism often show up as obstacles along the path. It’s difficult to reach out, but it is undoubtedly more difficult to continue to experience the same challenges week by week.
