Sage Grazer (She/Her)

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW
 therapist: Sage Grazer,
Online in California, Hawaii (Online Only)
In my therapy practice, I balance depth and practicality. I don’t just help you talk about what’s wrong. I help you understand the patterns underneath it and give you concrete tools to change them. I specialize in working with high-functioning, thoughtful adults who may look put together on the outside but feel anxious, burned out, or self-critical internally. My approach is non-judgmental, collaborative, and insight-driven, blending emotional processing with evidence-based strategies so you can build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a life that feels aligned.

Client Focus

Session Format: Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult, Young Adult

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to what matters most to you. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and create a plan that feels both supportive and practical. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you build effective coping skills and strengthen emotional regulation, while also drawing from psychodynamic therapy to explore deeper relationship patterns and past experiences that may be shaping the present. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in mindfulness, so you can feel safe exploring difficult emotions while gaining concrete tools to create meaningful, lasting change.

Sage Grazer Practice Description
In my practice, I work with adults who are ready to move beyond simply coping and toward meaningful, sustainable change. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, social anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or the lingering impact of past experiences. They are often insightful and high-achieving, yet feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or self-doubt. Our work together is both exploratory and practical. We’ll look at how your past experiences, attachment patterns, and core beliefs may be influencing your present-day reactions, while also building concrete skills to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, communicate more effectively, and set healthier boundaries. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT with psychodynamic and trauma-informed therapy to support both insight and action. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, challenged in a supportive way, and empowered to grow.
