In-Person in Sugar Land, TX 77478
What makes my practice unique is the combination of real-life experience, clinical training, and a deeply multicultural perspective. Having been born in Texas and raised in Brazil and Chile, I understand what it means to move between cultures, languages, identities, and expectations. I work with individuals navigating life’s challenges—whether that’s anxiety, depression, coming out, low self-esteem, infidelity, narcissism, relationship or interpersonal problems, or just the day-to-day weight of being human. My style is honest, supportive, and grounded in real connection. Therapy is about becoming more whole—more in touch with your truest self. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore, heal, and grow. It’s never too late to find peace and contentment.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: My style is warm, practical, sometimes humorous and grounded in real life. I use evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand your patterns, gain clarity, and build tools you can use outside of our sessions. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so our work together will be shaped around your life, your values, and what matters most to you. If you have been asking yourself, “Whose life am I living?” we can explore that together.
