Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. I focus on helping clients understand how their brain works while building practical skills for focus, communication, problem solving, and daily functioning. I believe therapy should feel supportive, relatable, and immediately useful in real life.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and person-centered approaches. I work to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at their own pace.
When working with children and families, I emphasize parent collaboration and practical strategies that can be used at home and school. I also incorporate tools and concepts from my ADHD children’s book, The Orbit Crew, to help make skill building engaging, visual, and easier for children to understand.
I also develop personalized programs for children and adults with ADHD that target their biggest areas of difficulty, helping them build skills in organization, attention, interpersonal skills, and daily routines through structured, achievable steps.

My practice focuses on supporting children, adults, and families navigating ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I take a practical, strengths-based approach that helps clients better understand their thoughts and behaviours while building realistic strategies they can apply in everyday life. I have a special interest in helping neurodivergent individuals develop focus, organization, interpersonal skills, and confidence.
I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and person-centered techniques. My style is collaborative, supportive, and educational, as I believe understanding why challenges happen is often the first step toward meaningful change.
In addition to therapy, I am the author of The Orbit Crew, an interactive ADHD book designed to help children and parents understand the ADHD brain in a simple, engaging, and empowering way. This reflects my passion for making mental health knowledge accessible and practical for families.
My goal is to help clients feel understood, capable, and equipped with tools that support long-term success both personally and within their relationships.
