My priority is creating a therapeutic space that feels emotionally safe, contained, and honest, where difficult material can be explored without fear of judgment or pressure to perform. I do not see people as broken or deficient. I understand symptoms, patterns, and behaviors as responses that developed in context, often as ways of coping, protecting, or surviving. Over time, these responses can become limiting or painful, but they usually make sense when viewed through the lens of lived experience. Therapy, for me, is an opportunity to slow things down enough to understand what has shaped you, what feels misaligned now, and what continues to repeat despite your best efforts to change it. My style is relational, direct, and collaborative. I value honesty over reassurance and clarity over quick fixes. I am engaged in the work and will offer reflection, perspective, and challenge when it is useful, while remaining attuned to pacing and readiness. I believe meaningful therapy requires both compassion and accountability, and that change is most sustainable when it grows from insight, agency, and choice rather than pressure or shame. I work well with clients who are motivated to engage in foundational work and who are open to looking beneath the surface of symptoms or conflict. This does not mean you need to have answers or know exactly where to begin. It means a willingness to be curious, reflective, and honest about what is working, what is not, and what feels difficult to face alone. Therapy is not about becoming someone else. It is about reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been silenced, protected, or lost along the way. At its core, my work is guided by humanistic values and a belief in each person’s capacity for self understanding and meaningful choice. I do not position myself as an authority over your inner life. Instead, I see therapy as a collaborative process in which we work together to make sense of your experience and move forward in ways that feel coherent, intentional, and sustainable. I hold this work with care, seriousness, and humility, recognizing the trust it requires to invite someone into your inner world.
