I work with adults affected by gambling, both those who gamble themselves and those living alongside a partner or family member’s gambling. Gambling can organise relationships around secrecy, volatility, financial strain, and repeated cycles of hope and disappointment, often leaving people unsure how to respond or where responsibility lies.
My work draws on Integrative Art Psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), offering ways to understand how gambling functions within an individual or family system, and what roles different people may have been pulled into over time. Sessions focus on clarity, boundaries, and the emotional impact of gambling, rather than quick solutions or pressure toward change. We may work through conversation, creative exploration, or a combination of both, depending on what feels most useful.
