Merritt Posten Benz
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LSCSW, CDWF, MCLC
At the start of the Pandemic, I was skeptical that online/virtual therapy would be of the same quality and connection as in person/in office counseling. I was pleasantly surprised that the work did translate and now I am grateful that I can offer high quality services to a wider group of couples and individuals. Even though I do see a handful of clients in man office, majority of my clients have preferred to meet virtually and appreciate the connivence and comfort of having sessions from the location of their own choosing. The quality of your life is crafted from your decisions. Whether those decisions are intentional or passive, we create and re-create our lives every day. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to your best life. Your breakthrough is waiting.

Gina Majestro
Psychologist, PsyD, HSP, HSPP
Sometimes it feels like you’re doing everything “right” — but inside, you still feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected from the person you want to be. Maybe you’ve been carrying old wounds for a long time, trying to hold it all together, and you’re just ready for something to finally shift.
I work with adults who are ready to move beyond survival and start truly living. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for your story. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and protective parts that once kept you safe — and help you build new ways of feeling grounded, connected, and at home in yourself.
You don’t have to keep doing this alone. Healing is possible, even if you’ve tried before and nothing seemed to work.
I offer in person therapy in Louisville, KY and virtual therapy for adults in Kentucky, Indiana, and across 42 PSYPACT states.
If you’re ready to take that next step — I’d be honored to walk with you.

Psychologist, PsyD
Finding a good therapist can be difficult. Credentials and experience are fairly straight forward to evaluate, but for a good therapeutic match your sense of comfort is essential. Therefore, I offer a free phone consultation to help you determine if I am a good match for you.
I have helped others like you improve their relationships, overcome anxiety, depression and anger. Social difficulties, self-esteem and personal growth are often areas of focus.
Naturally, each person and their issues have unique aspects and therefore my treatment approach will vary to some degree. Often a goal of therapy is to replace blind habit with choice. Among many approaches I use, we may explore your past as it relates to the here and now which can uncover patterns that you unknowingly engage in. At times I may offer specific exercises and tools for you to practice on your own. Recognizing your strengths, we will work on building genuine self-confidence, self-esteem, and finding motivation and support to overcome obstacles in life.

Online therapy is such a wonderful opportunity to do deep and powerful therapeutic work in a way that is both convenient and secure. I want all my clients, online and in person, to feel the same warmth and compassion as we work through situations and experiences. In much of the same way that we do in person, my online work is based around building a supportive therapeutic relationship. In therapy, potential for healing and growth occurs through through the relationship that we build together. I really enjoy working with clients who are trying to figure out how to manage or explore the difficult feelings – sometimes anxiety and depression - that can emerge during self-exploration, identity development, life changes, working on relationship issues among monogamous and poly/ENM/CNM people, career or work shifts, LGBTQIA+ clients, and so much more. Work with me often involves exploring patterns, looking at the imprints of families of origin, and addressing ways in which those long past experiences come up in the present.
