Anne-Lynn Teoh

Registered Psychotherapist, MoPC, BPsych (Hons), B.Sc. (Psych)
PACFA Registered Psychotherapist | Individuals & Couples | Online across Australia, Singapore & the UK I support adults and couples experiencing relationship distress, recurring conflict and emotional disconnection, including the frustration of feeling stuck, unseen or unheard in relationships. Emptiness, exhaustion, overwhelm or emotional shutdown can leave us feeling disconnected, while overthinking, anger, avoidance or people-pleasing can make it difficult to feel present, understood and close to others. My work focuses on the connection between how we experience ourselves and how we relate to others, including attachment, early relational wounds, family dynamics and intergenerational trauma. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, difficult boundaries and relationship anxiety, as well as couples caught in recurring conflict, communication difficulties, emotional distance or uncertainty about how to move forward. My approach is systemic and grounded in curiosity, recognising that our ways of coping developed for a reason—to help us adapt, protect ourselves and navigate what we have experienced, even when they may no longer serve us. I’m also attentive to bicultural Asian-Australian and immigrant experiences, including cultural identity, belonging and complex family dynamics.
