TREATMENT AND TOOLS FOR TRAUMA
Licensed Psychoanalyst, PH.D., IN PSYCHOANALYSIS AND NEUROSCIENCE, CERTIFIED PSYCHOANALYST, PSY.A, & LICENSED PSYCHOANALYST
Generalized Anxiety Disorder includes anxiety attacks and panic attacks. Both responses by the mind/brain/mind initiate the body's HPA axis sending stress hormones cascading through the body. My treatment involves the use of supplements (unique to each patient) and not drugs, talk therapy, mediation, and the development of healing flow activities. The goal is to lessen the impact of the sympathetic nervous system and to bring the parasympathetic nervous online to calm a person's mind/brain/body.

"Anxiety is the worst!" Paralyzing, distracting, exhausting. Anxiety can be specific to one area of life or generalized so that it feels like it's about everything. Treatment starts with understanding what anxiety is about and where it comes from, then taking mindful aim at managing the issues that ignite anxiety to cultivate calm and control. I am dedicated to helping individuals gain resilience by empowering themselves to cope with more confidence and less worry. We'll work together to track down the issue that's triggering anxiety; then, we will address it so you are freed up to make choices. Let's talk about what's nipping at - or trying to devour - you. Together, we'll find ways to tame anxiety.

Being afraid and anxious is horrible! You feel trapped and overwhelmed and, when it's happening, you can't even remember what it feels like to be okay. The best thing to do is to recognize the problem and do something about it. Counseling can really help you understand what you are truly afraid of, which usually isn't the thing we think we're afraid of. I can help you sort all this out. Don't put it off any more! You CAN get your anxiety under control.
