I have enjoyed working with many queer and trans clients over the years and appreciate the struggles of belonging to a marginalized and oppressed community while navigating the rest of life's challenges. I support peoples' rights to seek to affirm their gender identity in the ways that they choose to do so.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I know what it is like. We still live in a world where sadly there is hatred and violence. Even if you've never faced this yourself, the fact that it is there can affect you on a deep level. Fortunately the world is changing, but we still have a long way to go. Many of us as LGBTQIA+ individuals struggle with issues like depression or anxiety, especially social anxiety, chronic feelings of shame or worthlessness. Perhaps we are misunderstood or have been made to feel less-than due to our gender identity or non-binary status. I am someone who can listen and understand, and help you get to the roots of whatever might be holding you back.
Are you going through one of those difficult periods that life brings us all; whether recent or from long ago? There is a way through and I would like the privilege of being part of your journey. Allow me to support you as you go through it, you don't have to do it alone.
