Women's Issues

Gail Kirk Poust

Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT
Managing women's health issues can be stressful and overwhelming, but you don't need to suffer alone. I support women experiencing things like perimenopause, menopause, PMDD and infertility. We can't eliminate the health issues you are facing, but we can work on strategies for managing the symptoms to ease your stress and help you feel in control of your life again. You don't need to be defined by these health issues; together we will explore who you are and find ways to build a full, satisfying life.

Los Angeles, California therapist: Erin Hayden, licensed clinical social worker
Women's Issues

Erin Hayden

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW
Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply attuned to others — yet struggle to extend that same care toward themselves. We might explore questions around identity, ambition, relationships, boundaries, burnout, or the tension between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. Therapy can be a space to untangle expectations and build a life that feels more intentional and aligned with your values.

Los Angeles, California therapist: Mia Turner, therapist
Women's Issues

Mia Turner

Therapist, MA, RYT, ASDCS, LMFT, NPT-C, CMNCS, CMIP
Support for women navigating identity, burnout, caregiving, relationships, life transitions, body changes, reproductive experiences, chronic illness, disability, leadership, self-worth, and the visible and invisible expectations placed upon women across personal, professional, societal, vocational, educational, relational, cultural, and family systems. This work recognizes that women's experiences do not occur in isolation. They are shaped by the intersections of gender, race, culture, neurodivergence, disability, sexuality, spirituality, socioeconomic realities, family roles, community, and lived experience. Particular attention is given to the ways societal expectations, caregiving demands, perfectionism, people-pleasing, masking, emotional labor, and internalized messages about worth, productivity, appearance, sacrifice, and success can influence wellbeing, identity, relationships, and connection with self. Exploration may include the impact of hormones and hormonal transitions across the lifespan, including menstruation, PMDD, pregnancy, postpartum experiences, perimenopause, menopause, fertility challenges, reproductive decision-making, and the often-overlooked ways hormones can interact with neurodivergence, sensory experiences, executive functioning, emotional regulation, energy capacity, and nervous system functioning. My approach integrates EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, polyvagal-informed practices, parts work, neuropsychotherapy, expressive arts, attachment-focused approaches, and liberation-oriented healing. Rather than focusing on helping you adapt to unrealistic expectations, this work invites curiosity about which expectations genuinely align with your values and which may no longer serve you. Attention is given to both the external systems and internalized narratives that shape how you relate to yourself, your body, your needs, your ambitions, and your place in the world. Therapy offers space to reconnect with your voice, honor your needs, deepen self-trust, and cultivate a more compassionate relationship with yourself. The goal is not simply to function better within systems that may contribute to exhaustion or disconnection, but to create a life that feels more sustainable, authentic, embodied, and aligned with your values, capacity, relationships, and wellbeing.
