Clinician uses the Columbia assessment to screen for safety and initiate safety planning. Clinician utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address suicidal thoughts.  

I work with those who have suicidal thoughts through Internal Family Systems(IFS) as I help them explore they system within. When I work with those who are suicidal we explore their suicidal thoughts as a part of self and work on strengthening their part of self who wants life and understand the part of self which is suicidal.
