Natalie Jane - Narcissistic Abuse & Relationship Recovery Counsellor

Counsellor/Therapist
Are you wondering whether you are overreacting, or why you still miss someone who hurt you? Perhaps a relationship has left you anxious, doubting yourself and no longer sure who you are. I specialise in helping people recover from narcissistic and emotionally abusive relationships, betrayal and the patterns that keep pulling them back, so you can trust yourself again. I am a trauma-informed integrative counsellor and clinical hypnotherapist, and I also support couples, people living with addiction (including sex and porn addiction), anxiety, grief and low self-esteem. What makes working with me different is that support does not stop when the session ends: you can arrange short WhatsApp check-ins between sessions. I work online with English speakers in the UK, Spain, Portugal and worldwide. Sessions run seven days a week, 7am to 8pm UK time (8am to 9pm Central European Time), including early mornings, evenings and weekends, with fees from £55 and concession places available. Book a free 30-minute chat at https://appt.link/meet-with-natalie-jane-ACC3DbLM/web-conference - there is no pressure and no commitment, just a chance to ask questions and see whether we are a good fit.

John Castleford

Registered Psychotherapist, MA, MIAEB, FRAI
I have been a psychotherapist and mental health coach for many years, and I now specialise almost exclusively in helping those with, or recovering from, cancer. It's a debilitating disease that I have experienced twice, so I know at first hand the effect it can have on the quality of life and particularly how it makes us feel -- either as a reaction to being diagnosed and undergoing treatment, or when in remission as a survivor, the fear of it recurring. I can also help family members and close friends, who often feel helpless bystanders. We have all experienced our feelings dominating what we think, and what we do. But heightened emotions stop us thinking clearly. And that can often lead us to feel out of control. Unlike many therapists, I do not believe that the adverse effect on our thinking and our behaviour from a life-changing event like cancer is a dysfunctional flaw or a disorder that needs treatment. Typical reactions to cancer --anxiety, fear, stress and low mood -- are part of life. Why cancer often triggers is a range of reactions: shock and denial; Shock and denial that it is happening. Coping with fear, anxiety and panic can be difficult, particularly as mood swings may frequently change. Feelings of sadness may range from low moof to extreme depression. Ultimately we know, at a rational level, that we are mortal. But we also have we also have a very strong instinct to survive. We want to live. And enjoy life. Cancer is not the death sentence it once was. I can help you come to terms with the reality as well as the inevitable perceptions that may influence you. And I can help you to flourish, rather than just cope and survive.

Marc Donegan, Psychotherapist

Registered Psychotherapist, Psychodynamic Analysis & Transactional Analysis, PACFA, BACP, ITTA, EATA, UKATA
Confronting pain takes bravery and self-awareness, but you don't have to do it alone. With the right support, meaningful, lasting change is possible. I've run a private practice since 2016, drawing on a blend of Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This means I can work practically, with clear tools and strategies, while also exploring the deeper narratives and beliefs that shape how you see yourself and others. My approach is relational and collaborative. I work with empathy to help you examine the stories you carry, about yourself and, where relevant, about others. Many clients arrive having built strong defences over years, often shaped by difficult upbringings or unresolved trauma. My role is to create a space where those defences can soften enough for real change to take hold. Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I spent over 20 years as Director of my own company. That experience gives me genuine insight into the pressures of professional and business life, and I often work with people who are highly successful by external measures but privately struggling, helping them navigate what success alone doesn't resolve.
