Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Clinical Counsellor, B.Couns., MNCPS Accred. , PACFA Reg.
I work with people from every walk of life, from successful business managers to struggling students, helping them to navigate stress, anxiety, and life’s many challenges. My approach is friendly, humorous and empathetic. Online I see clients from all over the world- especially Australia, the UK and Ireland. I have developed my therapeutic style and skills over many years. I am especially well versed in shock and developmental trauma, relationship and family therapy, workplace stress and anxiety . My trauma work is based on releasing painful held memories through Somatic Experiencing. The good news is that you don't have to delve into old wounds or relive past events. Trauma is held in the body and it is through the body that it can be released. My wife Adima is also available for spiritual therapy and as a Gene Keys Guide and can be contacted through our website. The trust clients have displayed in me over the years has deepened my compassion and my insight and I am easy to connect with face to face or online. My aim is to present you with the tools you need to heal the things that trouble you and to connect more deeply within yourself; also to grow and develop an intimate, conscious and nourishing connection with the world around you. People often tell me they can never switch off the internal chatter and noise in their minds. That's a disturbance you don't have to live with. We can open the space for peace, simplicity and the freedom to relax when you need to. My way of working is singular, joining as it does clinical experience and the healing of trauma with meditation and mindfulness. I combine them to give my clients something special, the opportunity to find their own sense of direction in the company of a supportive ally, eliminating that which is old and no longer relevant while developing new strengths. My wish is to serve and support you in your authentic flowering, rather than to 'fix' you according to the expectations of conventional therapy. I appreciate connecting with people from every kind of background. I grew up in London and have travelled to many places in Europe, India and Asia. Until recently, I lived and worked in Australia and now I have returned to create a home and a practice in Devon the UK. In addition to Somatic Experiencing, I am inspired and fascinated by Internal Family Systems therapy and have recently embarked on a study of the Gene Keys. I look forward to working with you.

Kevin Martin

Counsellor/Therapist, Psychotherapist Psychodynamic Analysis & Transactional Analysis, BACP, ITTA, EA
Having been on my own journey of crisis, self-awareness, and awakening, I know how much courage and bravery it takes to reach out, to ask for help, and to accept that we cannot cope on our own. This means breaking deep-seated loyalty bonds and allowing others to see us, relate to us, and connect with parts we don't want others to see. I work at a practical level, using clear tools and strategies based on an agreed contract and timeframe, where we explore deep-held narratives and beliefs and compulsive patterns of behaviour. Within the relational dynamic, I offer a new space/ environment of empathy, understanding, and freedom of expression, where you can start to lower defences and express your needs and desires without fear of punishment or rejection. I am passionate about helping people who have reached a plateau or are facing a crisis. A place where they are ready to embrace a rite of passage, a journey into authenticity and freedom, where I can support them to increase their awareness and create a more vibrant, active and rewarding life. My mission is to help clients gain clarity and a deeper understanding of their childhood dynamics and relationship patterns as they learn to embrace their authentic selves by facing their fears and anxieties with compassion and trust.

Lavinia May

Counsellor/Therapist, MNCPS (Acc.)
Hi, I'm Lavinia. If you and your partner keep having the same argument, feel disconnected, or find yourselves walking on eggshells - you're not alone, and things can change. I specialise in couples therapy, and also work with individuals. My approach is warm, honest and practical: we'll make sense of what's going on between you, and build small, realistic steps that help your relationship feel easier, closer and more like you again. I use proven tools and techniques - without the jargon. Sessions feel like real conversations with direction: we set goals together, track what's working, and adapt as we go. I work with couples and individuals navigating: recurring arguments & communication breakdowns · trust & repair after conflict · intimacy & emotional disconnection · anxiety creeping into the relationship · family & in-law boundaries · life transitions & burnout · reconnecting after a rough patch Practicalities: 50-minute sessions • Online or in person in my Sandbach office • Individual & Couples. 🎁 20% Off All Therapy Sessions: Summer is here - and so is 20% off all therapy sessions. Let's make it count! Next step: Introductory Session 50 minutes | Individuals & Couples The first step is an initial session together - a relaxed conversation to get to know each other, hear a little about what's been going on, and explore how I may be able to support you. There's no pressure or commitment at this stage. Prefer to skip the Introductory Session? You're welcome to book your first therapy session directly. Dipak Jilka - Psychotherapist & Counsellor

Therapist, Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) – PACFA Reg. Clinical 26570
Holding a grounded stance of compassion, empathy, non-judgment and light-hearted curiosity, I provide a safe and reflective space for clients to explore and gently unpack their lives. While clients may initially seek support for concerns such as anger, anxiety, compulsive sexual behaviours, relationship difficulties, or other presenting issues, my experience has shown that the underlying dynamics are often more complex than they first appear. My therapeutic ethos is centred on not viewing clients as problems to be fixed, but as individuals whose struggles deserve to be witnessed with respect, depth and thoughtful exploration. I work collaboratively, supporting clients to develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and clarity about how they wish to live. I am of South Asian heritage, raised in London, and have lived in Sydney for over 30 years. Having straddled Eastern and Western cultures, including the particular nuances of my Indian background, I bring a culturally informed and integrative perspective to my practice. My earlier corporate career and lived experience of family life in Australia, alongside my own encounters with anxiety, stress and periods of low mood, have deepened my understanding of the pressures many clients face. My personal journey toward greater meaning, purpose and self-understanding informs my belief in psychotherapy as a transformative process. I am committed to supporting clients in cultivating insight, living more consciously, and moving toward lives that feel authentic and self-directed. If this approach resonates with you, I welcome the opportunity to connect.
