Life Coaching is the latest fad found in training, within counselling/coaching these days. Personally i don't think it is an alliance of those two but rather an alliance between 'coaching and psychotherapy', because in counselling one must not offer advice or make suggestions other than look at options, counsellors are not to take responsibility for clients decision making, so altering a persons life decisions could be quite consequential for the worst, we are told. So for a life change in direction, It needs to come from the client, or it's not true counselling. Coaching is something else and a good coach needs the in depth training in psychotherapy experience and to comprehend the deep workings of the mind to make a significant improvement for the better and the client needs to be aware you have that extra wisdom that comes from the work as a psychotherapist and not as a simple counsellor.

Sometimes you know what you want to change, but something keeps holding you back, whether that's self-doubt, overwhelm or old habits that are hard to break. As a certified life coach, I help women get clear on what they want, whether that's a career change, better balance or more confidence, and build practical steps to get there. What makes my life coaching different is that I can also use BWRT® to work with the automatic fears and anxious reactions that so often derail good intentions. It's a supportive, forward-focused space to focus on you and what comes next. I offer a free 15-minute consultation. Send me a message using the enquiry form and I'll get back to you.

Sometimes in life we all end up in stuck corners or dead ends, invisible ceilings, new crossroads or that feeling in our gut that our current life is just not where we want to be. Life transitions can be daunting and can create stopping in life. Life coaching may involve deep work in the past or a better lens to expand the possibilities of your forward.
It can also involve finding ways to experience and value more fully your here and now.
Taking the time to explore and re-resource, to take off blinders, deeply questions old ways, and beginning to expand our creativity to envision never before seen possibilities, these are some of the many ways we may collaborate and empower you to find both your true self and to create, meet and explore all the other selves and future you's to come.
You will explore personal development in meaningful ways, dive into your life pool of opportunities, sort out priorities, find your true voice, and much more!
