How much do you appreciate or even like yourself? Self-Esteem is an individual’s subjective evaluation of their own worth which predicts certain outcomes in ones own life. Someone who has difficulty with Self-Esteem has self statements of “I am not worthy”, “nobody loves me”, “I have no value”, etc. Experiences that a person has stemming from all the way back to childhood, is a major source of how that individual’s self-esteem develops. This specialty usually goes hand-in-hand with Dysfunctional Family Systems.
