Danielle Thurman (Roots and Wings Family Therapy)
Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Tired of feeling overwhelmed by your possessions?
Hoarding is rarely just about "clutter"—it’s often a deeply emotional way of coping with trauma, anxiety, or grief. As an therapist specializing in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I offer a gentle, non-judgmental space to help you heal the root causes of saving behaviors.
With IFS, we will identify and compassionately get to know the "parts" of you that feel scared to let go, reducing shame and bringing harmony to your internal world.
With EFT, we will address the underlying anxiety and emotional attachment to items, using tapping to reduce the emotional intensity when making decisions about what to keep or discard.
Together, we will move at your pace to create a safe, breathable living space and foster deeper self-compassion.
