I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing Alzheimer’s disease and related cognitive changes, as well as their caregivers and loved ones. During my graduate internship, I specialized in dementia care and gained experience using Dance/Movement Therapy and person-centered approaches to support older adults in memory care settings. I believe that connection, identity, and quality of life remain meaningful throughout every stage of cognitive change. Through therapeutic conversation, mindfulness, reminiscence, creative expression, and movement-based interventions, I support emotional expression, self-awareness, and connection while honoring each individual’s abilities, preferences, and unique life story.
