Registered Psychotherapist, Bsc - PSYCH/Neuro, Grad. Dip Gestalt Therapy
Sometimes you don't need therapy in the traditional sense, you need a thinking partner to help you get unstuck and move toward the life you actually want. If you're ready for change but not sure where to start, let's work together to help you find direction and momentum. The first step in life coaching is understanding that you already have more clarity and capability within you than you might realise, sometimes it just needs space to surface. In a supportive, non-judgmental space, we'll clarify your goals, identify what's been holding you back, and build a realistic plan to move forward. My approach combines accountability, self-compassion, and practical action steps tailored to your life. You don't have to figure it out alone. Let's take the first step toward the changes you've been wanting to make. Together, we’ll define your goals, identify what's holding you back, and develop a clear action plan to move forward. With personalized strategies and accountability, you’ll build the mindset and momentum to create the life you’ve always dreamed of. It’s time to take charge of your future. John Castleford

Registered Psychotherapist, MA, MIAEB, FRAI
I began as a coach to myself, and that was an extension of my many years as a teacher and educator. Knowing what outcomes we want, and the motivation that will drive our action to achieve our goals, combined with a realistic understanding of what action is needed on our part, and how much of a priority that involves all define the likelihood of success -- all these are essential elements of a successful designed outcome. However, do be aware I am not interested in helping coach for performance goals that you think will make you look better in the eyes of others, but I AM very much interested in GROWTH goals that will contribute to you becoming the best version of whom you could become.

Life Coaching is the latest fad found in training, within counselling/coaching these days. Personally i don't think it is an alliance of those two but rather an alliance between 'coaching and psychotherapy', because in counselling one must not offer advice or make suggestions other than look at options, counsellors are not to take responsibility for clients decision making, so altering a persons life decisions could be quite consequential for the worst, we are told. So for a life change in direction, It needs to come from the client, or it's not true counselling. Coaching is something else and a good coach needs the in depth training in psychotherapy experience and to comprehend the deep workings of the mind to make a significant improvement for the better and the client needs to be aware you have that extra wisdom that comes from the work as a psychotherapist and not as a simple counsellor.

Sometimes it can be easy to make a needed change in our lives. Other times, something in us seems to block forward progress but we can't figure out what. This is where working with a personal coach can be invaluable. Maybe you'd like to improve your self confidence, your relationships or your communication skills. Maybe you'd like more balance between your work and your life. Or perhaps you're thinking about your reason for being, the thing that gets you out of bed in the morning. During our personalised online coaching sessions, we'll craft a personalised map that's specific to you. We'll look at where you want to be, where you are right now and build a bridge to take you where you'd like to be.
