Tony O'Loughlin

Registered Psychotherapist, GradDip Psychotherapy, BA (Social Science), Trauma Informed Somatic Facilitator, PACFA member
As an integrative psychotherapist, I support couples in navigating relationship challenges by fostering deeper understanding, connection, and communication. My approach blends somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment theory to help partners uncover and address underlying patterns, unmet needs, and emotional wounds that may impact their relationship. By working with each partner’s individual parts and the dynamics of the couple as a whole, I create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for exploring conflicts, rebuilding trust, and cultivating a shared vision for the relationship. My goal is to empower couples to move toward greater intimacy, authenticity, and mutual respect.

I work primarily from a Rogerian or Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) approach using a conversational style listening patiently to you, always with empathy, genuineness and without judgement, to help find the solutions you desire for your life whilst adjusting my techniques to fit your needs within each session. Due to my background in working with many couples and individuals on relationship and marriage counselling topics over my career, I have a good understanding of various relationship and marriage specific issues and how they impact the people involved. Also, including how they can affect the relationships with others in their life such as children and other family and friends. I can provide impartial support to have sensitive conversations as needed always encouraging honesty and empowerment through calm communication. My aim is to assist you with your changing relationship or marriage related struggles to restore balance, happiness and inner peace with various techniques of 'talk therapy' and somatic (mind/body) healing methods. Where ever you are in your relationship or marriage journey, know that there is hope - Let me help you find that hope.

Uri Bookman

Counsellor/Therapist, PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor (30041), Relationship & Couples Counsellor, Certified Coach
As a PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor (30041), I work extensively with couples caught in repeating cycles of conflict, withdrawal, defensiveness or disconnection. Rather than deciding who is right or wrong, we look beneath the conflict to understand the pattern between you and what each person brings to it. The work supports responsibility without blame, clearer communication, emotional safety, trust and a more conscious way of relating.

Will Salter - Connected Man Counselling

Counsellor/Therapist, ACA member, L2 IFS trained, Diploma of Counselling
My focus is on supporting men as they work through stress, anger, disconnection, and self-doubt. By encouraging honesty, vulnerability, and emotional clarity, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore the challenges that show up in relationships, work, fatherhood, or identity. Counselling here isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about guiding you back into connection: with yourself, your core values, and the people who matter most, so you can move forward with greater clarity and purpose. I see counselling as a collaborative and creative process, shaped by the needs and direction of each person I work with. My role is to offer steady support while creating room for healing, growth, and meaningful change. Ultimately, my aim is to help you deepen your relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you.

Relationship difficulties usually involve two people each bringing their own script and history into the same room. I work with individuals and couples to understand these patterns and build genuinely different ways of relating, rather than just better conflict management.

I support couples with communication difficulties, disconnection, breaches of trust and the pressures affecting their relationship. I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy, developed by clinical psychologists Dr John Gottman and Dr Julie Schwartz Gottman. It draws on more than 50 years of relationship research, and The Gottman Institute reports that the method has helped more than 100,000 couples. We begin with a thorough assessment of your relationship, including questionnaires I provide at no extra cost. We then choose practical interventions to strengthen friendship, manage conflict and build shared meaning. I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Couples therapy starts with four assessment appointments: 90 minutes together, one 60-minute individual appointment with each partner, then 60 minutes together for feedback. Each partner completes relationship questionnaires separately and privately between the first joint appointment and their individual assessment appointment. Allow a couple of hours each. Relationship questionnaires included. No additional questionnaire fee. First joint appointment: $345 for 90 minutes. Later appointments: $230 for 60 minutes. The individual assessment appointments are part of couples work. Where individual work with one partner supports the couples work, I may offer it for a stated purpose and coordinate it with our joint sessions. Both partners need to know and agree, and I check this with each of you on your own. The same disclosure rule applies in both settings. Ongoing individual therapy, including trauma processing or EMDR, is considered case by case with my clinical supervisor.
