Brooklyn, New York therapist: Menucha Banayan, marriage and family therapist
Serving Men

Menucha Banayan

Marriage and Family Therapist, LMHC
Sometimes couples come to therapy feeling exhausted and discouraged — like they’ve tried everything and are still ending up in the same painful patterns. My practice is a warm, supportive space where both partners feel heard, understood, and respected. I work with couples who feel alone in their marriage, stuck in rough communication cycles, or unsure how things got so distant despite trying so hard. Together, we gently explore triggers, the ways you each impact one another, and the deeper emotions underneath the conflict. My goal is to help you move out of blame and disconnection and into a relationship where you feel secure, valued, and truly loved. If you’re longing for closeness again, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

New York City, New York therapist: Michael Lockwood of Scene Creative Life Solutions, licensed clinical social worker
Serving Men

Michael Lockwood of Scene Creative Life Solutions

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, LMSW
Most men who reach out to me aren’t falling apart, they’re holding everything together while feeling numb, overwhelmed, or disconnected inside. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. You don’t need perfect words or a dramatic story to work with me. You just need the truth of where you are. My work is grounded, direct, patient, and honest. I help men explore the deeper layers of identity, trauma, shame, and relationships, the things you were never given the space to talk about. I’m not here to lecture you or nod quietly. I’m here to help you understand yourself in a way that finally makes sense and opens something inside you that’s been shut for a long time. If you’re ready for therapy that actually means something, I’m here for you.

Clifton, New Jersey therapist: Dr. Mike Abrams, psychologist
Serving Men

Dr. Mike Abrams

Psychologist, PhD, MBA, ABPP
I limit my practice to a few clients with whom I can offer meaningful help. I do not think it is ethical for a psychologist to agree to work with someone who has a problem outside of their expertise or someone who has barriers that the psychologist suspects they cannot overcome. When I conclude that I can help someone, I collaborate with them while applying the most appropriate methods for their problems. I choose these methods from among the many I have studied or developed. This is sometimes called a Transdiagnostic Integrative technique. Here, a clinical label or diagnosis is less important than the unique collection of symptoms a person is living with. I also make sure that I come to understand the client's point of view, how their adversities, their personal philosophy, and their level of suffering combine to lead to their anxiety, depressed mood, or even anger. When the client agrees, I prefer to use psychological testing to be sure my assessment of the client's situation is supported by the best available science. When I conduct psychotherapy, I know it can only be effective when I view the client as presenting many intricate problems that must be fully understood, so each client's issues are approached as scientific hypotheses that guide therapy, which guide my specific interventions, but is always open to revision as new life history information or psychological data becomes available. Since I have trained numerous therapists and continue researching and publishing in the field, my clients are assured they receiving the most effective evidence-based interventions. If you do see me, you can be confident that you will be unconditionally accepted in a safe and comfortable therapeutic relationship with every effort being made to help you.

London, England therapist: Louise Perry, registered psychotherapist
Serving Men

Louise Perry

Registered Psychotherapist, IFS UKCP HCCP BAAT
I work as an integrative art psychotherapist and IFS practitioner, offering a thoughtful and collaborative way of working. Therapy with me doesn’t need to involve art unless it feels useful; some sessions focus on conversation, while others may use images, objects, or simple creative materials to explore experiences that are difficult to put into words. Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working in design and technology. That background continues to shape how I work – I’m interested in patterns, systems, and how different parts interact, both internally and in our wider lives. My decision to retrain grew out of lived experience as well as professional curiosity, and I bring both into the therapy room. I work in an engaged, grounded way, staying close to what matters and adjusting pace as needed. Clients often come to me when they want to understand themselves more clearly, work with complexity rather than bypass it, and make changes that feel considered and sustainable.

Jenna Sackman - Online/Virtual Therapy

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC, LPC
I specialize in working with individuals (children, teens and adults) and couples, and I am incredibly passionate about the work I do and the people with whom I have the honor to work. My areas of expertise are anxiety / stress, relationship challenges, conflict resolution, intrusive negative thoughts and patterns, loss/grief and depression. Most clients and couples choose to work with me because they are looking for nontraditional therapy that provides them with concrete skills to improve their everyday lives and/or address specific concerns. Holistic and integrative in my approach, I believe that there is no "one size fits all" in therapy. Therefore, I uniquely tailor therapy sessions to meet each client's needs and goals. With extensive experience and training in results oriented and solutions focused cognitive therapies, positive psychology, mindfulness, Buddhist Psychology, Gottman Method for Couples, meditation, and yoga, I offer creative approaches that result in meaningful change and growth. Above all, I am committed to creating therapeutic relationships that are built on trust, respect, transparency, empathy, honesty, and equality, and I always counsel from a nonjudgmental place of understanding and compassion. I am happy to offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to see how I can best support you! Why wait tomorrow when you can start today?
