My journey into the healing arts began at the intersection of the soul and the system—first through a Master of Divinity, then a Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, and ultimately a PhD in Child and Family Studies. These chapters of my education taught me a singular truth: we do not live in isolation. We are deeply rooted in our attachments, our spiritualities, and the complex social constructs of power and equity that shape our everyday lives.
As a therapist, supervisor, and professor, I lead with courageous dialogue and radical curiosity. When I am not in the therapy room or the classroom, I am often finding my own balance: lifting weights, enjoying live music with my wife, or finding a moment of quiet with a book and my Goldendoodle, Comet.
