Veronica Bojerski
Counselor/Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, LPCC-S and Certified Hypnotherapist, CHt
I believe that being healthy does not mean perfection... that CHANGE is a very personal process and that WELLNESS encompasses the body, mind and soul. As the owner of Season's Practice, inspiring change is my passion and it is the core of my entire team. I strive to motivate my clients to be the best they can be at any given moment...designing and executing a plan to become more aware, more focused and more open to growth. We will celebrate the tiniest of successes, but also focus on the journey of transformation ahead, never letting being "ok" or "stuck" get in the way of bigger dreams and possibilities. I wholeheartedly hope that our work together will pave the way for my client's in living a life on their terms after therapy has concluded.

Phil McClelland
Counselor/Therapist, MDIV, MA, LPCC-S, NCC, ACS
Trauma changes how you experience the world, your thoughts, your body, your relationships, even your sense of safety.
You may feel on edge, shut down, or stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, even to you. Pushing through it or ignoring it usually doesn’t work for long.
Therapy gives you a place to slow things down and make sense of what’s happening, without judgment or pressure.
My approach is steady and direct. We work at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on helping your system settle, building clarity, and restoring a sense of control in your life.
This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about real change that lasts.
If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to walk with you through it.

Kristen Jackson Banister
Counselor/Therapist, M.A. LPC SEP
My approach to therapy is somatic, holistic, and relational. This means we don’t just talk about your challenges—we work with how they live in your body, your nervous system, and your patterns of relating to yourself, to the world, to the people around you.
I help people move through anxiety, depression, self esteem struggles, trauma, and other life challenges by helping them to reconnect with their internal sense of clarity and stability. Together, we create space for you to slow down, feel supported, and begin to respond to life with more choice and self-trust. Therapy with me is warm, engaged, and grounded in real change—not just insight.

Imagine Recovery Counseling LLC (Kristen Gidel Kelly)
Counselor/Therapist, LPCC-S, LICDC, CTTS, Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant
Kristen Gidel Kelly: FOUNDER, Imagine Recovery Counseling
The first thing you need to know about me is that I am not your Traditional Therapist (I’m an EMDR and DBT nerd and super passionate about what I do!) and everyone that works for me is an extension of me and my values. I value both the science and the art, creative, and personalized experience of therapy. I value both ethical practice and the need to adapt the science that I have to fit the needs of the human being sitting in front of me.
My values regarding client care:
Trauma is something that happens to you, it’s not part of your identity. I work with trauma because I believe people can change and heal from their experiences. I seek to empower people to heal and grow and I truly believe you can. I have lived experience in most of the conditions that I treat or I have worked with them for a long time and have extensive training. You will not intimate me with your experience. I often tell my clients, “If I don’t know something, I will find out”. Many of the clients that come see me have had a prior therapy experience that did not go well. While I always remain humble in what I do and let folks know “You are in the driver’s seat”, I want to make it clear that I have 18 years of experience in what I do and I’m always learning and consulting with experts to be the best version of myself for my clients and my staff. I go to my own therapy and work on my own stuff. Lastly, it is part of my professional and personal ethics to respond to all client referrals within 24 hours. I feel strongly that if you reach out, I will respond. I keep our wait list intentionally low because I do not feel it’s ethical for folks to wait a long time to get help.
My values regarding my group practice:
I worked in community mental health and government for 17 years. Many times, I was working in a toxic, oppressive workplace and was extremely burned out. It is highly important to me to provide a healing and safe environment for my staff. I pride myself on hiring folks that are deeply aligned with my values, highly skilled and trained (it’s not always about years of experience!), and have the self respect to expect to be taken care of by their boss. I believe it’s important to always be learning. I teach my staff everything I know and provide them with free consultation and training. It is the privilege and a responsibility of a boss to take care of their people. If you work with my therapists, please know that I am taking care of them so they can skillfully take care of you! A lot of folks that come to work with me have been burned out by their previous employer and want something more. I value providing a safe, comfortable, trauma sensitive, diversity/inclusive, therapist centered working environment. Burnout will be assessed and taken seriously and consultation support is provided. It’s so important to me, I write this language into my contracts.

Megan Obermeyer Therapy
Counselor/Therapist, MS, LPCC-S
Taking a moment to slow down and connect with your inner self can feel hard and even scary in the fast moving world we live in. My goal as a therapist is to create a chunk of time where you can slow down, settle in, and grow deeper in your connection and understanding with yourself. I work to create that space for you, as well as supporting through actionable steps and tools to help increase regulation in your day to day life.

Cleveland carries a post-industrial identity with deep civic pride, and the mental health effects of decades of economic decline — job loss, population contraction, and community stress — are themes many local therapists engage with regularly. The city is home to the Cleveland Clinic, one of the world's premier medical institutions, which maintains extensive psychiatric and behavioral health services alongside a large private practice community concentrated in Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, and Lakewood. Cleveland's large Black community and history of racial inequity drive demand for culturally affirming therapists who work with racial trauma and social justice themes. University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center provides additional institutional mental health resources in a city with a well-established independent practice community.
