At Reflection Centre, we understand that sexual addiction can be a challenging and often isolating experience. Our therapists are trained to help individuals struggling with sexual addiction to explore the underlying factors contributing to their behaviour and develop healthier coping mechanisms. We use evidence-based approaches to treatment, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), to help individuals develop new ways of thinking and behaving around sexual activity. Our therapists also provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings and experiences, helping them move towards a healthier relationship with their sexuality.
Our team of Certified Sex Addiction Therapist's and CSAT-Candidates are trained in a specific model that has helped thousands of men and women overcome compulsive sexual behaviour, including sex addiction, porn addiction, betrayal trauma, and other problematic sexual behaviour. We work with men and women who are looking to overcome the shame, powerless, and pain that sex and porn addiction creates.
About a third of my caseload at any given time is addictions work, and I see clients who have addictions to sex, alcohol, drugs, gambling, porn use, food, video games/escapism, etc. Understanding how and why people become addicted to any of these behaviours is the first step in understanding how to undo the process that got them there. When working with clients with addictions issues, I take a treatment/tool/protocol oriented approach to helping them manage their addiction permanently.
I use an eleven session treatment plan based on SAST and provide a none judgemental environment for those seeking help with Complusive Sexual Behaviours (CSB) and their partners. I encourage anyone to take the test below to see if they have CSB https://www.recoveryzone.com/tests/sex-addiction/SAST/index.php
