Orillia, Ontario therapist: Lydia Bennett, registered psychotherapist
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Lydia Bennett

Registered Psychotherapist, MA Counselling, BA Psychology
My passion for psychotherapy comes from my own experiences with relationships. I’ve learned that our greatest joys—and our toughest struggles—often come from the connections we share with parents, partners, children, friends, and colleagues. These relationships shape not only how we see the world but also how we experience ourselves.

Ottawa, Ontario therapist: Kristen See, registered psychotherapist
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Kristen See

Registered Psychotherapist, MA, RP
My therapeutic style is neuro-affirming, relational, and eclectic. You can expect friendly banter, a collaborative process, the option to actually get to know your therapist (I'm not here to be a stranger to you), and an approach that shifts with your needs and goals rather than a textbook treatment plan. In short, some sessions may be rooted in skill work, others may require more trauma-informed care. I offer therapy that meets you where you're at. I also understand that neurodivergent clients are neurodivergent 100% of the time - my goal is to provide a service that accommodates and accepts the ADHD / AuDHD experience. Fun facts about me: I'm a millennial in my 30's, diagnosed with ADHD later in life, lover of cats, nature, and reality tv.

Toronto, Ontario therapist: Jamie Clahane | Psychotherapy & Pastoral Care (virtual), registered psychotherapist
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Jamie Clahane | Psychotherapy & Pastoral Care (virtual)

Registered Psychotherapist, MTS, RP
Thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I am a registered psychotherapist providing pastoral psychotherapy for people across Ontario. This means I specialize in integrating clinical counselling and spiritual care. Why is this important? It is important because healing involves the whole person. Yes, healing involves emotional & cognitive processing and integration around unresolved wounds in one's life, but the deepest healing involves more. When we face personal struggles or crises it is an invitation to find deeper meaning and hope in our lives. It is here that I provide Christian counselling to help build a foundation of wellness and hope. In terms of psychotherapy, I focus on healing deeper issues that contribute to mental health symptoms. People may be struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or more complex presentations, such as obsessive compulsions, addiction patterns, complicated grief, emotional dysregulation, and more. Instead of simply learning how to manage symptoms, my approach is to gently uncover and work to heal deeper root issues underneath these symptoms that often include shame and self-rejection, unresolved grief, emotional injuries or trauma, for example. As we recover we can restore a healthy sense of self, a deepened faith, and a restored hope for one's life.
