I am a neuropsychologist with extensive expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders throughout the lifespan. In my practice, I am able to do diagnostic evaluations for ages 2.5 and up, including into adulthood. I offer a range of evaluation types depending on age and needs, from a diagnostic evaluation designed to determine whether someone has an ASD to a very comprehensive evaluation that assesses the impact of ASD (and any other comorbid difficulties) on learning, development, and behavioral functioning. By providing an in-depth understanding of the person with an ASD, I can make specific and individualized recommendations for educational, career, and treatment settings. I also offer career assessments and guidance for individuals with ASDs in order to help identify careers that match their interests, skills, and abilities.  

Our parent organization runs the Art of Friendship Social Skills Program and Camp Pegasus. Most of our therapists have extensive training and experience in social-coping skills training and can be a great resource for individuals with ASD and Asperger's Syndrome.  

I specialize in neurodiversity affirming care, which includes therapy that embraces ADHD, autism, and other neurotypes. I am passionate about supporting autistic folks in embracing and advocating for themselves, and in navigating a world that is often inaccessible to neurodivergent people.  

In my work with children on the autism spectrum, I take a unique approach for each child, recognizing that autism looks different for everyone. I focus on helping them build and improve specific skills, using lots of positive encouragement to make progress in areas like social interaction and communication. I also believe in the power of family support in reinforcing these new skills and creating a loving environment that promotes their growth and development.  

Our center was founded as a center for play therapy specifically for Autism, all of our therapists have years of experience working with autism spectrum disorder across all ages. We specialize in treating Autism with comorbid diagnosis related to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, social anxiety, fear, depression, trauma and OCD. We work closely with families to support them at home, at our center, and support their children in school settings as well.  

I began working with individuals on the autism spectrum while I was still a high school student in a career study program. I continued to work privately with families affected by ASD as well as through other entities throughout college and obtained a teaching position in a school district in South Eastern PA working with individuals with special needs, including autism, for 2 years before moving to a part-time consulting role in this school district. I also worked with a number of families, consultants, teams and other entities, including graduate university degree programs (and graduate students, graduate students seeking experience hours and supervision), boards, special interest groups, committees, and subcommittees for years, providing support and training in various forms for those affected directly and/or involved in the treatment of those affected by the neurological disorder. I assisted with legislation, advocacy, and other causes supporting the development of more advanced (from a research and God-infused perspective), in terms of the ways of treating these individuals and those surrounding these individuals with the care and support they needed.
