Life Connections Autism Services
Counselor/Therapist, LBA
About Us.
Welcome to Autism Services at LCC! As professionals in the field for over a decade, we understand how overwhelming an Autism diagnosis can be. Whether your child has recently been diagnosed or you’ve been navigating through this journey for a while, the options can feel endless and the process daunting. From the very first phone call, we strive to be a resource for you and your child.
We serve the Knoxville and the Tri-cities area and provide services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental disorders. All our programs are based on the principles and evidence-based practices of Applied Behavior Analysis.
The spectrum of Autism and other developmental delays is quite extensive and each of our approaches are created to meet the needs of each individual child. We work one-on-one with your child at their pace to improve communication skills and guide challenging behavior, rewriting the story of what’s possible for their future.
We are currently offering ABA services in-home, in-school, and in-clinic.
We are working on offering social skills groups and parenting classes in the future to further meet the needs of our community. Visit our Support Groups page for more information.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), simply stated, is a research-based style of teaching and learning. It involves using techniques such as prompting, fading, shaping, and reinforcement of your child’s behavior. ABA can be used to teach a variety of skills, such as increasing language development, social skills, coping skills, and alternative behaviors in place of problem behaviors.

Aligned Counseling LLC
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPCMH, LPC-MHSP
I believe that we are more than what we struggle with. In today's world women are often held to, or holding themselves to, a high standard. We strive to "do it all" and aim for perfection. We are often left feeling tired, anxious, and overwhelmed. You may be juggling a high stakes job, a new medical diagnosis, or simply trying to keep everything together. It is my honor to work with you to help you better understand your needs, your expectations, and your wants - essentially, to find the you that's underneath all of the stressors.

Hope I. Hills, Ph.D.
Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist in NC, Authorized PsyPact Practitioner in 40 states
I have been a licensed therapist since 1987 when I was a professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri. I've continued to help my clients learn to love and accept themselves, whether in individual or couples therapy, executives and their teams, or women in prison. I pay attention to Body, Mind, and Spirit as we work, as I believe we must recognize the interaction of all three. Clients comment that despite feeling safe with me, they feel challenged to face themselves.
