As clients are the experts in their lives, my work focuses on understanding their current context, goals and aspirations for their potential futures. From there, we work together to bring the future into the now, step-by-step, together.
I provide life-coaching skills for those who want to address certain areas in life. I encourage my clients to recognize their strengths and discover their weaknesses so we can create a plan to perform at a higher level. My clients come to me wanting improvement in their personal life and/or career. I help guide my clients to reach their ultimate goals and their full potential.
While there is some life coaching as a natural part of therapy, there is no therapy in life coaching. Instead of going into the past, life coaching focuses on finding solutions to today's problematic behaviors so that you can achieve your goals.

There are times when we get in the way of ourselves. A Life Coach can see barriers that you may not be able to see. Helping a person identify and uncover those barriers is critical to achieving a desired goal.
Life coaching is about learning the goals for that person's life and then figuring out the path to get there. IT requires skill building and the understanding of strengths and weaknesses. IT is seeing what there is to work with and how we can add tools to the tool box of life. Using CBT methods will help to analyze current patterns and look for areas to improve upon.

Counseling isn't just for those who are struggling with mental illness. Many exciting opportunities and life transitions can lead to an increase in anxiety or stress about how to adapt to new circumstances. “Talk therapy” or counseling provides a safe, non-judgmental place to talk about your relationships or career, to clarify life goals and values, to explore and expand your options, and to develop better skills for managing life challenges. Sometimes people simply feel like they need some extra support from time to time or a neutral, confidential listening ear as they set new goals, strive to improve their performance, struggle with decision making, or try to create a better work-life balance.
