Becoming — Not Broken.
You've found yourself researching 'Am I a narcissist?' in the middle of the night, you have constant questions as to 'How did I get here?' and 'Why do these things keep happening to me?' You've lost someone very close to you and now you are spinning out and can't seem to find your feet. You keep repeating patterns that bring the same people into your life and leave you in pieces after they've left. You're ready to change, you just don't know how or where to start.
I believe healing is not about fixing what’s wrong with you, but uncovering the strength and resilience that have always been there. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, or deep grief. Together, we create a safe, grounded space where painful experiences can be processed and integrated — not avoided. Our work is centered on helping you reconnect with your voice, your clarity, and your capacity for secure relationships.

Sara Pesic
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, NCC, CCTP
In years of practicing counseling and doing my own training and research, I have learned that besides knowing "Why" it is also important to know "How." I find many people knowing where their trauma or problem is coming from, but they are still not able to move forward and resolve the issue. My focus is on understanding the client's challenges and then helping them move forward with practical and manageable steps.

Amy-Noelle Shih
Licensed Professional Counselor, Relationship Therapist and Life Coach, LPC, MA
I am a relationship coach and therapist, with an intuitive gift for working with relational dynamics.
What I have learned as a relationship coach and therapist and as a human soul who loves LOVE and the magic of healthy relationships is that it’s not enough to:
❤️love spending time together
❤️share values
❤️have good chemistry
❤️laugh together
❤️have good conversation
❤️genuinely enjoy one another’s company
❤️admire each other’s qualities
❤️feel love.
Yes, all of this is very important.
But if there is a deficit in body intelligence, heart attunement, healthy emotional vulnerability, and self-awareness, the issue will almost always be the same.
Partners may believe the issue is the breakdown of one of the things mentioned above. When the truth is, even the “masters of relationships” have challenges, ruptures, moments of feeling hurt, disappointed, misunderstood. What becomes the salve of reconciliation is the capacity to gain understanding, for deep care of another’s feelings, and a genuine desire to find the sweet spot where empathy and validation become antidotes to stuckness.
As soon as one feels seen and heard, pent-up energy is released, defenses soften, and there is more love, freeing up the barriers to seeking ways to work it out. Which is to say, loving understanding is the solution to finding solutions!
When partners can feel like their feelings and what's on their hearts is worthy of being held with importance and tenderness, then everything becomes more possible. There is new motivation, receptivity, and selfless energy that fills the space between partners. Growth, feeling close, and deeper trust are forged beautifully.
But if partners have fragile egos, cannot practice healthy control of their reactions, choose communication patterns that create more distance and suffering, are not willing to see their part in conflict, and allow their own stories and assumptions to rule their hearts and minds rather than compassionate understanding, then growth and change stall and stagnate.
Without self-awareness and course correction, even what is great about the relationship starts to recede into the background as the pain and disappointment get louder and take center stage, until only negativity seems to run the show.

Cristina Ciobanu
Counselor/Therapist, LPC Associate Supervised by Ryan Holliman PhD LPC-S
If you've landed here, something has probably shaken the ground underneath you. Maybe it was a discovery, a slow unraveling of trust, or a moment that changed how you see everything, including yourself.
I started Sense Therapy because I know what that feels like, not just professionally, but personally. I've experienced betrayal trauma. I know what it's like to look okay on the outside while quietly trying to make sense of something that doesn't add up. I know how exhausting it is to overthink, overfunction, and still feel like you can't fully settle.
That lived experience shapes everything about how I work. When you sit across from me, you're not just working with someone who understands betrayal trauma clinically. You're working with someone who has been in that disorienting place and found a way through it.
What makes this practice different is the combination of warmth and structure. I don't believe healing means just talking about what happened indefinitely. We move with intention, at a pace that feels right for you, using evidence-based approaches that actually give you tools, not just insight.
My clients often tell me they finally feel like someone gets it, without judgment, without rushing them toward forgiveness or a decision they're not ready to make.
If any of this resonates, I'd love to connect. A free consultation is the simplest place to start.

Lubbock is home to Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center — the city's largest employers and the anchors of its mental health training and clinical infrastructure — creating a therapy community shaped significantly by student mental health demand and the research programs feeding practitioners into the broader region. The city's conservative religious character and large evangelical community mean faith-integrated therapy is a prominent part of the local offering, with many therapists explicitly integrating spiritual values into evidence-based work. Lubbock's role as the commercial center for a vast agricultural and energy-producing West Texas region means it also draws therapy clients from smaller surrounding towns with no local access. Covenant Health and University Medical Center serve as the major institutional mental health anchors for the South Plains.
