Speaking openly about sexual habits, desires, and relationships can be awkward for patients. Having a graduate certificate in LGBT Health and Policy guides many of my interventions and thoughts about sex and relationships. All I ask is that my patients come with open minds and a willingness to discuss these sometimes challenging topics. We live in a culture that is deeply oppressed around topics of sex, desires, and fetishes.
