Annapolis, Maryland therapist: Eric Weinstein, life coach
Anxiety or Fears

Eric Weinstein

Life Coach, Hypnosis and NLP, shamanic healing, Energy Psychology (including "tapping"), Voice Dialogue
As a non-licensed practitioner, I cannot legally claim to work with anxiety (because it’s a diagnosable condition). That said, I’ve have several effective tools to help clients who are anxious (officially diagnosed or not) and can almost guarantee dramatic improvement when clients are willing to do some homework to empower themselves. In my experience, typical talk therapy only goes so far. Many people who suffer from anxiety are empaths or HSPs (highly sensitive people). If you are, that needs to be addressed first. And when clients grow up in a dysfunctional family environment that makes anxiety a way of life, it gets “wired” into the brain. I approach anxiety with this in mind, starting with nutritional support, and then help clients use tools that “rewire” the brain. There's no reason to go through life with more worry and stress than it already has!

At Coalesce Family Services, we specialize in helping individuals navigate and overcome the challenges of anxiety and fears. Under the guidance of Hazel Jacobs, LCSW, LISW-CP, our approach to anxiety is grounded in understanding and compassion, recognizing that each person’s experience with anxiety is deeply personal. We utilize evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to address the root causes of anxiety and develop effective coping mechanisms. Our program is designed to empower clients with the skills to manage their anxiety in the moment and reduce the impact it has on their daily lives. By focusing on strategies like thought reframing, relaxation techniques, and gradual exposure to fears in a safe and controlled manner, clients learn to break the cycle of anxiety and reclaim their sense of control. We also place a strong emphasis on building resilience and self-awareness, helping clients to understand their triggers and responses to stress. Through personalized care and a supportive therapeutic relationship, we guide our clients toward a life characterized by greater calm, confidence, and freedom from the constraints of anxiety.
