It is so important to find out what really interests us in order to chose our career. So often people follow in their parent's footsteps, or just get whatever job they can and then keep on with that job as a career even if they hate it. I use the Strong Interest Inventory with all my clients, whether individual or couples. It is so important to clearly see what interests we have and how confident we are that we can explore them. For couples, that knowledge is often how they can expand the things they can explore together. When we are doing what we love as a career, or as a major part of our non-work life, our life purpose becomes even more satisfying and fulfilling.
