Treatment Approach

  • Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
  • Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.

Tiffany Warmington Practice Details

Therapy Sessions Tiffany Warmington Practice Description
My online therapy practice is built around creating a space where you can feel safe, heard, and accepted for who you are. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care, meeting you where they are and honoring your unique experiences. While every person has their own story, it my role is to walk alongside you as you explore what has shaped you, what you are carrying, and what you hope to create moving forward. I provide trauma-informed therapy and support clients through trauma processing using evidence based approaches including EMDR, IFS, and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) working at a nervous system level where our automatic fight or flight responses are stored and activated. These therapies help clients gently work through difficult experiences, reconnect with themselves, and build a stronger sense of healing and resilience. I work collaboratively with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or the impact of past experiences. Together, we can explore patterns, develop new coping tools, work through difficult experiences, and create space for greater self-understanding and growth. My goal is for therapy to feel like a place where you don’t have to navigate things alone, a place where you can be met with compassion, respect, and support as you move toward meaningful change. Through online sessions, I strive to make therapy accessible, comfortable, and personalized to your needs.
