It takes courage to ask for help. I am aware of the enormous amount of pain people carry every day, everywhere and I feel compelled to reach out and help them tap into a more meaningful life, to teach them they have value, to help them gain an increased sense of control over their own life, to help them recognize their resilience and improve the quality of their relationships. We are all in this together.

Treatment Approach
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I use an Integrative approach in our work which can help people who are struggling with their mental or emotional health to gain clarity and find solutions for themselves. Integrative Counselling generally includes more than one type of therapy, such as psychodynamic, humanistic and behavioural therapies – all delivering very different approaches to helping people overcome the challenges they may be facing in their lives.

As a skilled Counselling Therapist, I use an individualised, integrative, compassionate, neurodiversity and 2SLGBTQI+ affirming approach to empower clients in my practice, develop skills and utilise the resources within to help face and resolve life’s challenges. Additionally, in my work with couples I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy, the goals of which are to disarm conflicting verbal communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy; and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship. I am constantly amazed at the courage people muster to manage their life’s difficulties and confront very great challenges. I am honoured to be trusted with delicate information and to be a part of their journey.
