Many people who seek therapy are not “broken,” but exhausted from carrying too much on their own for too long. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, mentally drained, or stuck despite functioning well in their daily lives.
I have a particular interest in working with individuals with ADHD or autism—whether diagnosed or exploring that possibility—who often feel misunderstood or pressured to function in ways that don’t fully fit.
In therapy, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, supported, and not judged. Together, we work to slow things down, make sense of your thoughts and emotions, and develop practical, effective strategies that help you feel more in control and aligned with how you naturally function.

Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My primary therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), which help individuals understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and develop practical strategies for change. I also integrate an attachment-focused and trauma-informed perspective, allowing us to explore underlying patterns, relational dynamics, and past experiences that may be influencing your current difficulties.

At Sunny Days Psychological Services, I provide evidence-based psychological services for adults, including therapy and comprehensive psychological assessments in Mississauga and across Ontario (virtual). I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, with nearly 30 years of clinical experience.
I specialize in psychological and psychoeducational assessments, including ADHD assessments, autism assessments for adults, cognitive and intellectual testing, and evaluations for anxiety, depression, and emotional functioning. I also provide assessments for academic accommodations, workplace accommodations, long-term disability, and ODSP. My approach goes beyond diagnosis—I help you understand your results clearly and translate them into practical, real-life strategies.
In therapy, I support individuals experiencing anxiety (including health anxiety, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety), depression, burnout, OCD, trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, and relationship difficulties. I also work with more complex mental health concerns, including personality-related patterns, chronic stress, and somatic symptom conditions.
Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who feel overwhelmed, mentally overloaded, or stuck despite managing many responsibilities. Therapy provides a structured and supportive space to better understand these patterns, reduce emotional distress, and regain a sense of control and direction.
I have a particular specialization in working with adults with ADHD and autism, including those who are newly diagnosed or exploring whether these profiles apply to them. Many individuals I work with have spent years feeling misunderstood or trying to adapt to expectations that do not align with how their mind works. Together, we focus on building strategies that are realistic, sustainable, and tailored to your strengths.
As an experienced trauma therapist, I work with individuals impacted by childhood trauma, abuse, neglect, and grief. My approach balances emotional processing with structure and stability, ensuring that therapy feels both safe and effective.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and individualized. I draw from evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), T.E.A.M.-CBT, attachment-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. This allows us to address both symptoms and underlying patterns, leading to deeper and more lasting change.
I offer therapy in English and Turkish, with in-person sessions in Mississauga and secure virtual therapy across Ontario.
