I have a unique approach to therapy in that my educational background has allowed me to be trained in classic therapy modalities like CBT and DBT along with Creative Arts Therapy methods. I like to implement creative arts and creativity in general to classic therapy practice as client is comfortable. In addition to my creative approach to therapy I keep in mind values that influence my practice. I treat the client as an equal and respect the client's perspective and lived experience. I keep a non judgmental therapy space and am open to all orientations and lifestyles seeking therapy to increase their life satisfaction and to decrease feelings like anxiety and depression. I am a therapist who also comes form a multicultural perspective and like to keep in mind the clients macro and microenvironments that contribute to their lived experience and beliefs.
