Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT
Online in Illinois,
British Columbia (Online Only)
I work with individuals, couples, and business professionals who are often managing high expectations, demanding careers, and important relationships, while also trying to stay connected to themselves. Therapy with me is a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and move toward greater clarity and alignment, while not losing sight of the goals.
Clients often come to me for support with relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, burnout, identity questions, and intercultural dynamics. I bring a relational and collaborative approach, meaning we work together in a way that feels thoughtful, honest, and tailored to your needs- not one-size-fits-all.
At the heart of my work is a belief that meaningful change happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. I aim to offer that kind of space, where you can explore what’s not working, strengthen what matters most, and build relationships, with yourself and others that feel more connected and fulfilling.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: As a therapist, I deeply value authenticity, cultural awareness, and the understanding that our identities and lived experiences shape how we move through relationships, work, and the world. Growing up in a biracial, bicultural, and multi-faith household gave me an early appreciation for the complexity of identity, belonging, and connection, and continues to inform the way I support clients today. I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe showing up fully - without judgment, shame, or the pressure to perform. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals and couples navigating intercultural relationships, high-pressure careers, family expectations, and questions around identity and self-worth. My approach is collaborative, relational, and rooted in curiosity. I value meaningful conversations, emotional honesty, and helping clients build relationships that feel healthier, more fulfilling, and aligned with who they truly are.
