Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
  • Neuropsychology Examines how brain function affects thinking, memory, and behavior. It often involves assessment and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
Approach Description: My therapeutic approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation to help clients clarify their values, build psychological flexibility, and take meaningful steps toward change. I view each person through a biopsychosocial perspective that considers the interaction of physical health, emotional well-being, social environment, and personal history. My background in neuropsychology also informs my work, especially when supporting clients with cognitive concerns, aging-related changes, or medical complexity. Each session is tailored to meet your unique needs with the goal of fostering insight, resilience, and positive growth.
