Therapy can be a place to step away from the expectations and pressures that have shaped your life and make room for what you genuinely need. I work with adults who may look like they are doing well on the outside while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected, stuck, or unsure of what comes next. Together, we can explore what you are experiencing now as well as the patterns, relationships, and expectations that may be contributing to it. My practice is intentionally small so that I can be fully present and thoughtful in my work with each client. I aim to create a space where you can explore your experiences openly, better understand yourself, and find ways forward that feel meaningful and sustainable.
Client Focus
Session Format: Individual sessions.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in psychological research and evidence-based practice. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood rather than judged, directed, or placed into a predetermined framework. Together, we will identify what you want from therapy and regularly revisit those goals as your needs evolve.
I draw from ACT, CBT, EFT, IPT, existential/humanistic, feminist, multicultural, and person-centered approaches. Depending on what is most helpful for you, we may explore patterns in your relationships, the beliefs and expectations that contribute to distress, difficult emotions, questions of identity and meaning, or the ways your cultural and social context have shaped your experiences. My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and create changes that feel authentic and sustainable.
