Jennifer Francke Psychotherapy, LLC
Licensed Professional Counselor, LIMHP, LPC, LADC, LMHC
In-Person in Omaha, NE 68144
Hello, and welcome! My name is Jen Francke, and I have had the privilege of practicing as a licensed independent mental health practitioner and licensed alcohol and drug counselor for over 11 years. My journey in the field has been deeply influenced by my belief that everyone, at some point in their life, faces challenges that can feel overwhelming. While you have undoubtedly navigated through many difficulties in the past, there is absolutely no shame in seeking extra support when you need it. That’s where I come in—to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, balance, and a renewed sense of well-being.
I offer a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, blending trauma-informed, client-centered methods with proven therapeutic techniques. I am also certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which I have found to be incredibly effective for clients dealing with trauma and distressing life experiences. Whether you're seeking individual psychotherapy or substance abuse treatment, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore, heal, and grow.
In addition to my clinical work, I have completed yoga teacher training, which has enhanced my approach by incorporating mindfulness and self-awareness practices to support emotional and mental healing. By integrating mind, body, and spirit, I work with clients to help them achieve greater mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
No matter where you are on your journey, I’m here to help guide and support you in taking the next steps toward a healthier, more balanced life. Feel free to reach out to learn more about how we can work together toward achieving your goals.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is grounded in the understanding that each person’s life experiences, challenges, and goals are unique. That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I draw upon a variety of therapeutic techniques and tailor our work together to meet your specific needs. My goal is to help you move toward the life you desire—whether that’s a greater sense of emotional balance, healing from past trauma, or cultivating a deeper understanding of yourself.
In my practice, I integrate several evidence-based modalities that empower you to confront challenges, heal past wounds, and develop the skills you need to thrive. Below, I’ve outlined the core approaches I use, but please note that these are not standalone interventions—our work together will be a fluid, dynamic process that combines multiple techniques depending on your unique circumstances.
I integrate several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address negative thought patterns, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma healing, and Narrative Therapy to help you rewrite your personal story. I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility, Solution-Focused Therapy to emphasize strengths and practical solutions, and Behavioral Activation to combat feelings of depression. Mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and self-care practices are essential parts of my work, helping you manage stress and build resilience. Please visit my website for an in-depth description of my approach and how it may best support your needs and goals in therapy.
