I don’t see people as problems to fix, but as humans with stories to be held, pain to be witnessed, and strengths to be illuminated. My role is a steady, compassionate presence—curious, culturally humble, and practical—so you can feel safer, think more clearly, and make changes that last. Together we’ll move at your pace, building skills and resilience while we heal what hurts.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) An evidence-based treatment for PTSD that teaches clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts about trauma. It helps reduce guilt, shame, and fear.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Psychosocial Therapy Looks at how social and environmental factors affect psychological health. It emphasizes relationships, community, and resilience.
- Reality Therapy / Choice Theory Focuses on present choices and taking responsibility for actions. It helps clients create more fulfilling relationships and lives.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.

I help teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, or big life transitions. Clients describe me as warm, grounded, and direct: I listen deeply, reflect what matters, and translate insight into small, doable steps between sessions. We’ll begin by clarifying what’s happening now, what relief would look like, and how we’ll measure progress.
My training includes CBT, DBT, CPT, EFT, ACT, Narrative and Solution-Focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, strengths-based and trauma-focused care, with additional Gottman tools for couples. I’m a Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW #832317) with CCTP and C-DBT certifications; I practice from trauma-informed and anti-oppressive values and stay current through ongoing supervision and advanced learning.
Expect a blend of nervous-system regulation, skills for emotion and relationship management, and gentle processing at a pace that protects you from overwhelm. We’ll honor culture, identity, and context, and we’ll keep an eye on practical outcomes—better sleep, steadier mood, clearer boundaries, and more choice in day-to-day life. I work virtually only through secure JaneApp video and offer morning-to-evening availability every day.
