I believe therapy works best when it is both grounded and genuinely human. My approach is collaborative, practical, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients understand what is happening beneath the surface rather than simply managing symptoms.
I work with people who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship conflict, or emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-functioning people who are used to pushing through but know something deeper needs attention.
My clinical work draws from evidence-based and experiential approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems-informed therapy, clinical hypnosis, and other trauma-focused methods. I am especially interested in how the nervous system, memory, emotion, and identity all interact in the healing process.
I aim to create a therapy space that is direct but compassionate, supportive but not passive. Together, we will work toward helping you make sense of your experience, reduce distress, and build a more flexible, connected way of living

Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Play Therapy Uses toys, games, and creative play to help children express emotions. It is especially useful when children can’t fully verbalize their feelings.
- Sandplay Therapy Uses sand trays and miniature figures to allow symbolic expression. It is especially helpful for children and trauma survivors.
Approach Description: Our approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s needs. We combine evidence-based methods with a warm, practical style, helping clients better understand the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to distress. Depending on the clinician and client goals, therapy may include EMDR, IFS-informed work, DBT skills, play therapy, couples counseling, clinical hypnosis, or other integrative approaches. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, we focus on creating a thoughtful treatment plan that supports insight, emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and meaningful change.

We work with adults, couples, children, teens, and families seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, parenting stress, grief, burnout, and life transitions.
Our practice is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based care. Depending on each client’s needs, therapy may include approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems-informed therapy, DBT skills, play therapy, couples counseling, clinical hypnosis, and other experiential or skills-based methods. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, we focus on matching clients with a clinician whose style, training, and personality fit what they are looking for.
Many of our clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to change patterns that keep repeating. Our goal is to provide a space that feels both supportive and clinically thoughtful, helping clients better understand themselves, reduce distress, improve relationships, and move toward lasting change.
