My therapy approach is based on my client's needs whether it's short or long term. I use a variety of different methods, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Focusing (see my website www.holisticcounsel.com for more information) to deal with some of the following issues: Anxiety, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Relationship concerns, Separation or Divorce, Trauma, Loneliness, Career dissatisfaction, Bereavement and Existential Angst.
For couples who are stuck in their negative patterns, couples therapy (EFT) offers a road map to discover how you got into the negative cycle. I will help you find different ways of sharing your vulnerable emotions with each other. This can lead to a deeper bonding with your partner. From this deeper connection, life challenges can be resolved in a more compassionate and loving way.
Clients who are feeling lost, having no attachment with people around them or having difficulties with relationships can benefit from individual counselling. Being in a supportive environment they can explore their deeper feelings and discover how to change the patterns they got stuck in.
