Finding the right counsellor for you is one of the most important parts that will make therapy more effective and successful for you. Its not just about our qualifications but how we connect and work together. I am a Neurodivergent counsellor and have found this out very late in life, I understand how it feels to just not fit in or be able to conform to the 'norms' of society, to struggle to work out why we are different. How to find ways to learn who you are and love all those 'quirks' that make us different. I understand how this feels and will work with you to help you find your way to manage what you are experiencing. I have learnt experience with CNBC - childless not by choice and Chronic Pain & Fatigue conditions. With both of these I find it can really be beneficial that I have an understanding of how it feels and not just how it is to study these experiences. As well as working with Adults I also work as a counsellor with young people in schools, colleges and my private practice.

Thanks to global telecommunications we are no longer prisoners of geography. And I have clients all over the world via phone, Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp (and others by arrangement). I have been conducting online therapy sessions for over ten years now; it suits clients well: no need to travel; you are in your own space, there are no visual distractions and it's easier to focus on the issues at hand.

Saffron Marriner

Some of the benefits of seeing a therapist online are that this will give you the opportunity to access support in a location and at a time that is convenient to you and you may be able to access therapy more quickly this way. As counsellors are trained to observe your body language, voice tone and other non verbal cues, including eye contact there may be the need for me to clarify certain points with you if we are working remotely ( particularly if this is over the telephone) We would use either zoom or whatsapp for our video calls. I will send you the hyperlink to download onto your device. There will also be a password to allow you access to a secure, encrypted online meeting room. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality while we are working together including ensuring that the hardware for your device, internet access points, email address and passwords are secure. I will call you at the time that we have agreed and encourage you to ensure that the space that you are in is a place where you feel safe, comfortable and your privacy is maintained. Some things for you to ask yourself prior to working with a therapist remotely might be how comfortable are you with using internet technology? Is there a device you can use in private with no interruptions? It is also worth considering whether the situation that you are seeking counselling for may be easier for you to discuss face to face?

My wife Adima and I see clients online around the world, especially in the UK and Australia, and offer you a FREE INTAKE TALK of approx. 25 mins, for us to ensure our approach is right for you. You are also welcome to contact Adima through our website. Our work includes Talk Therapy, Spiritual Self-Inquiry, Eye-Reading and Transformational Body and Energy Healing, and exploring the Gene Keys. I'm told I have the knack tof developing a strong sense of connection with our online clients. I have found over the last several years that a real connection is easier to achieve than one would imagine. Strength is found in opening to one’s fear, one’s inner darkness. When you discover the wisdom and intelligence of the heart, you uncover the potential to stay open to the new and to the unknown and to transform.
