Jeannette Craigfeld

Psychologist, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist
I have been providing online therapy since 2020 and found so many benefits to it, that I continued to offer online therapy since opening my own practice in 2022. I provide individual therapy for adults with a wide variety of concerns, particularly specializing in anxiety disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, relationship issues, perfectionism, and low self-esteem, among others. I am also able to provide assessments and letters for transgender and gender non-conforming clients seeking gender affirming care. I see therapy as a collaborative experience that is not one-size-fits-all. I integrate multiple theories in my work and pull mainly from humanistic, relational, feminist, and mindfulness and acceptance based therapies. I know that reaching out for therapy can be a vulnerable experience. I hope you are giving yourself credit for taking this first step. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, and I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation so we can get to know each other and make sure we would be a good fit for therapy before getting started.

I specialize in helping those who are anxious and overwhelmed learn to recognize and honor their needs - it may mean: giving yourself permission to slow down, scale back, set healthy boundaries, go after what you truly want, and be yourself (authentically and unapologetically). As your partner on this journey, I’ll help you muster your strength, foster your self-acceptance, and feel more at ease. My therapy practice has been completely online for over a year. I have found the technology enables clients to be able to engage in sessions from the comfort of their own home or location of their choosing. I do all of the same dynamic practices in sessions online, whether that be teaching breathwork, visualization or embodiment movement techniques. I use the chat function to give the client links for resources or other recommendations. The platform I use is Simple Practice which has an app that can be used on mobile devices as well as a desktop version. It provides a secure, HIPAA compliant videochat platform which is very easy to use. I am an out of network therapist so clients pay me directly and then I provide a superbill which can be used to obtain insurance reimbursement if you are eligible for it based on your policy. I also provide clients a service called Reimbursify where they can submit a request to find out how much their insurance will cover and it can also be used to submit claims directly to your insurance company. If you have any issues with the insurance company Reimbursify can assist in getting information. Contact me via email or phone for a free 15 minute consultation.
