Roger Thiessen
Licensed Professional Counsellor, CCC, MPS, M.Div
Who in your life truly listens to you? I base my practice in deep listening. I believe in your own inner owl: the innate wisdom you have but just can't find right now. My role is to provide a safe, gentle, non-judgmental and confidential space to help you get in touch with your wisdom so you can live your fullest life.
I've come to believe that the purpose of suffering is to help us better understand ourselves, our relationships and life itself. I would like to help you break through to what life has in store for you next. Fundamentally, there's nothing wrong with us; at difficult points in our lives, we all developed coping strategies that helped us survive but now, these strategies get in the way. Let's work together to facilitate your healing and growth.

Andrew Saliba
Counsellor/Therapist, CCC (Registration No. 11246757), APC (Registration No. 834ON24)
Together, I believe therapy can be both transformational and perhaps even enjoyable.
Maybe you'd like to begin working on some things, but aren't sure where to start. I believe everyone deserves a safe place to share, process, and to find inner healing. I welcome you as you are. Contact me to let me know about yourself or what you're seeking help about.
My journey has been neither easy nor straightforward, so I see the need for empathy, deep listening, and a non-judgemental approach to issues.
One of the reasons I became a counsellor was to support those with either pain from the past, questions about life, or problems that require someone who listens well and has expertise to help. My desire is to help you understand yourself better and navigate your circumstances with a sense of strength, hope, and togetherness.

Kevin Jones
Psychologist, MACP
Kevin’s path to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight line—it was a discovery of who he truly is and how he wants to contribute to the world. He initially followed the direction his parents encouraged, completing an undergraduate degree in psychology before moving into law. As a lawyer in a full-service firm, he found himself drawn not to the adversarial side of the work, but to the problem-solving, collaboration, and human connection that naturally unfolded when helping clients navigate difficult decisions.
Over time, Kevin realized that the parts of law he loved most—listening, understanding, and working together toward solutions—were exactly the pieces that aligned with his values and strengths. He began to ask himself how can I make this the whole job? That question ultimately led him back to psychology, where a collaborative, solution-focused approach could become the foundation of his work. Therapy, he realized, was where he could fully lean into who he is: calm, thoughtful, curious, and deeply oriented toward helping people move forward with clarity.
Kevin’s shift into couples counselling grew naturally out of his experience in divorce law. He often saw relationships break down not because of a lack of love, but because communication had eroded long before either partner sought help. Witnessing this was disheartening—it highlighted how many couples were struggling without support and how preventable many of those ruptures could have been.
As a therapist, Kevin now has the opportunity to be on the other side of that process. Couples counselling allows him to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and rediscover connection before the relationship reaches a breaking point. It’s meaningful work that aligns with both his professional insight and his personal desire to help people stay connected rather than fall apart.
Today, Kevin brings the best of both worlds—his background in psychology and his experience in law—into a grounded, practical, and deeply human therapeutic style. He is committed to creating a space where individuals and couples can understand themselves, improve their relationships, and navigate life’s complexities with confidence.

Samuele Bariani
Registered Psychotherapist, MDiv, RP
Hi! My name is Samuele and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Clinical Supervisor with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am fluent in English and Italian and I can speak functional Spanish. With over 9 years of experience, I support individuals, couples, and families who are seeking meaningful change and healing in their lives. My work focuses on helping people navigate life’s challenges, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward a greater sense of peace and wholeness. Often, our journey toward healing begins when we pause to reflect on the experiences that have shaped us – especially the moments where we may have felt shame, alienation, or fragmentation. In therapy, we create space to gently explore these stories, fostering understanding, compassion, and the possibility for growth and transformation.
If you feel ready, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
I also provide supervision to therapists and students who are looking to strengthen their confidence and competence in their clinical work.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, exploring the beauty of nature in every season, reading, travelling, and connecting with others.

Kevin Ruddell
Psychologist, M.A., R. Psych
Everyone's challenges are unique to the person. I like to try identify causes of symptoms that present rather than try and treat symptoms. As such, in our appointments we will try to make them specific to your needs and I willing accept feedback for what clients wish to focus on rather than follow a fixed agenda.

Edmonton's northern location and long, dark winters contribute significantly to seasonal depression and mood challenges, making therapists with expertise in SAD and mood disorders particularly sought after. The city's economy is closely tied to the energy sector, and residents face the psychological ripple effects of boom-bust economic cycles including job instability and financial anxiety. Edmonton has a large Indigenous population, and therapists offering trauma-informed, culturally grounded care for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit clients are especially valued here. Alberta Health Services provides public mental health access, with a growing private practice community serving the city's expanding southern and west-end neighbourhoods.
